Refund policy
At Dubbo Scaffolding, we want customers to be confident when purchasing from us. Due to the size, weight and nature of many of our scaffolding, temporary fencing and construction products, please choose carefully before placing your order.
Change of Mind
Dubbo Scaffolding does not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind.
This includes where a customer:
- orders the incorrect product, size or quantity;
- over-orders;
- no longer requires the product;
- finds the product cheaper elsewhere; or
- decides the product is unsuitable after purchase where there is no fault with the product.
Please choose carefully before placing your order.
This policy does not limit any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Used or Installed Products
Products that have been used, installed, erected, modified or put into service cannot be returned because they are no longer required or because the customer has changed their mind.
This includes temporary fencing, scaffold components, access equipment and associated products that have been used on a worksite.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where goods are faulty or otherwise fail to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.
If you believe an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or missing from your order, please contact Dubbo Scaffolding as soon as possible at admin@dubboscaffolding.com.au.
Please provide:
- your name and order number;
- details of the affected product;
- a description of the issue; and
- photographs of the product and damage or fault, where applicable.
We will assess the issue and contact you regarding the appropriate next steps.
Where goods fail to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances.
Large & Bulky Goods
Many of the products sold by Dubbo Scaffolding are large, heavy or bulky and cannot be returned using standard parcel delivery services.
Please do not return or arrange freight for any goods without contacting Dubbo Scaffolding first.
Where goods are faulty, damaged or otherwise eligible for a remedy under Australian Consumer Law, we will advise you of the appropriate process for returning, collecting, repairing or replacing the goods.
Where Australian Consumer Law requires Dubbo Scaffolding to bear the cost of returning or collecting goods, we will arrange this with you.
Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact Dubbo Scaffolding as soon as possible.
Orders that have already been dispatched, prepared for delivery, specially ordered or collected may not be able to be cancelled.
Any cancellation rights available under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.
Refunds
Where a refund is required or approved, we will notify you once the matter has been assessed.
Approved refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method. Please allow additional processing time for your bank, card provider or payment provider to credit the funds to your account.
Original delivery, freight or collection charges are not refundable unless required under the Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
