Warranty Policy
Dubbo Scaffolding is committed to supplying quality scaffolding, temporary fencing, access equipment and associated construction products.
Products supplied by Dubbo Scaffolding are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, unless otherwise stated for a particular product.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and proof of purchase is required when making a warranty claim.
What Is Covered
The warranty applies to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that become apparent during normal and appropriate use of the product within the warranty period.
Where a product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect covered by warranty, the product may be repaired or replaced, depending on the nature of the defect and the circumstances.
What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover damage, deterioration or failure resulting from:
- normal wear and tear;
- corrosion caused by environmental exposure, chemicals, acids or solvents;
- misuse, abuse or neglect;
- improper maintenance, handling or storage;
- accidental or impact damage;
- incorrect assembly, installation, erection or dismantling;
- modifications or alterations to the original product;
- use outside the intended or recommended application;
- exceeding specified load capacities;
- failure to follow applicable manufacturer instructions or guidelines; or
- continued use of a product after damage or a fault becomes apparent.
Nothing in these exclusions limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe a product purchased from Dubbo Scaffolding has a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.
To assist with assessing the claim, please provide:
- your name and contact details;
- order number or proof of purchase;
- details of the affected product;
- a description of the fault or defect; and
- clear photographs showing the product and the issue.
Additional information or an inspection of the product may be required before a warranty claim can be finalised.
Please do not return or arrange freight for any products without contacting Dubbo Scaffolding first.
This is particularly important for scaffolding, temporary fencing and other large or bulky products.
Warranty Assessment
Once the required information has been received, the claim will be assessed to determine whether the issue is covered by warranty.
If the product needs to be inspected or returned, Dubbo Scaffolding will provide instructions regarding the next steps.
Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed and covered by warranty, an appropriate remedy will be arranged.
Assessment and processing times may vary depending on the product, nature of the issue and whether an inspection or return is required.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
This warranty is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law and does not exclude, restrict or modify those rights.
Depending on the circumstances, where goods fail to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy.
